Modern Steel Mills was established was established in year 2001 to manufacture steel Billets. The company manufactures various types of Concast steel billets. The Billets are manufactured through Arc Furnace Route. The main plant equipments are Arc Furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace and Continuous Casting Machine. Steel Billets are a necessary raw material for the building industry. The billets are used to manufacture rebar, wire rods, angles, channels, beams, rails etc. Recently the plant facilities has been upgraded to produce alloy steel as well. Besides being the most efficient, the unit is also environmentally friendly. It helps to make useful finished product from converting waste ferrous scrap that in turn is utilized as raw material in rolling mills.

Delivering Products to Precise Specification

Modern Steel Rolling Mills LLC was established in year 2017 to manufacture rolled products such as Flats, Serrated Flats, Rounds, Re-bars etc. This plant is a hot rolling mill for production of flats and serrated flats. Raw material is steel billets of size 100 x 100 x 1500 , 120 x 120 x 1500 and 130 x 130 x 1500, which are heated to a rolling temperature at about 1250 ⁰ C in the billet reheated furnace. These heated billets are rolled through the rolling mill consisting of three parts, 3 HI-400cc Roughing Mill, 4 Stands Intermediate Mill and 6 Stands Finishing Mill. The Intermediate and Finishing stands are of continuous type having PLC Automation.
